Mormugao Port, a protected open type natural harbour is situated on magnificent and hospitable coastline on the West Coast of India at a latitude in the State of Goa.
The port is approximately 370 kms south
of Mumbai and 300 kms North of New Mangalore nad 575 kms north of Kochi. It
is an open type harbour protected by a
breakwater and a mole built from the
outer end of the breakwater and running
parallel to the quay. The harbour is
also protected from the South West
Monsoon as it has been constructed on
the leeward side of Mormugao
Headland.
