ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONSULTATIONS AND REPRESENTATION
Mormugao Port Trust is constituted under the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 consisting of 19 Trustees including the Chairman and Dy. Chairman of the Port.  These Trustees represent the various interests such as Government, Labour, Port Users, Exporters/Importers and other interests.  The Board meets every month to finalise its policy on various issues.  In addition to this, as and when any public issue arises, with the due approval of the Board a Committee is constituted in which major representation is given to the eminent personality from the Vasco City to resolve such issue and take policy decision on such issues.
